The DaneJones brand started out in 2011 and this was the first SEXYhub brand we created, there seemed to be a trend in mainstream porn at the time for aggressive, over-the-top, male-pleasure orientated sex porn, it was relentlessly nasty and there was nothing “beautiful” about it. We felt that sex is beautiful, we wanted to capture it in a more natural way and celebrate the sensual and loving side of sex. To make creative, sensually explicit pornography that focused more on female pleasure, real sex, real orgasms and real feelings. We wanted to try and promote a healthy and positive attitude towards sex and pornography, and didn’t want it to feel so dirty and unrealistic. It needed to be porn with feeling!
Yeah that’s a damn good question lol. There was a lad with the same name at my secondary school, so naturally when I started this job (and was only editing the DJ brand to begin with) any time I told my friends what I was working on they assumed Dane Jones was the guy from school that we knew.
Is it a name made up just to sound like a classier brand than other porn studios? Or is there a deeper mystery here?
I think it’s just the anagram of the un-used marketing slogan,
