How is everyone doing during the various lockdowns across the world? What’s it like in your country?
Where I am in the UK we have been on official lockdown since 23 March. But I have friends in Madrid and of course I have many friends in Czech Rep., so we knew what would happen and decided to go into isolation around 14th March after Czech Republic closed it’s borders. I was due to fly to Prague to shoot that week, and also the week after because we had some new projects we were starting!
It’s not a very strict or heavily enforced lockdown here. I go out once a week to do the food shopping and while it is definitely much quieter than usual, I see many cars out on the road with multiple people inside, small groups out for walks or bike rides and sitting on benches having picnics. So it’s not quite the same as some of the other European cities that have been much stricter about people’s movement.
