Tats. Max Dyor has gone from someone with “freedom” on his hip, “love football” on his wrist and two childish stick men clinking beer tankards on his knee to a man covered with terrifying, hellish visions of demon nuns and Spartan warriors all over him. I’m not sure who he’s trying to convince because we all know he’s a heck of a nice guy.
This scene was a little chaotically shot; continuity and transitions between positions getting lost all over the shop. So as an editor it’s either lots of dissolves or some pretty brutal cuts with unsettled camera. I’ve chosen the later and tried to be a bit clever with audio to disguise it. I’ve always been interested in how the ears fool the eyes, but too lazy to actually learn anything about it.
