I do love Alexis, and always look forward to any of her edits. They almost always put a smile on my face as I work. That said however, I don’t actually remember editing this. If you asked me what happens in the scene i honestly couldn’t tell you. Maybe I cut it in a dream like how Paul McCartney claims he wrote “Yesterday”. It can happen, you edit a scene, leave it a day or two for other, more urgent tasks then come back to QC it and genuinely can’t remember anything about it. And I don’t necessarily put it down to the scene being forgettable or to my ageing and decaying brain. It’s more that, this is just work. If you fill in 100 spreadsheets a week or land 50 planes a month you’re not going to remember them all are you?
