Loved up couple after nightclub

Loads of glass, a big thing of glass in the middle of the screen. This is like my nightmare, I’m now on edge the whole time convinced that a) There will be a reflection of the cameraman, light, random crew member throughout the entirety of the scene which I’ll be unable to do anything about, ruining the scene. b) there will be a very small, very brief, almost unnoticeable reflection which I will miss and someone watching will notice.

It’s easy to not notice your reflection when you are filming, if you’ve just changed a shot quickly and the performers are going at it, you’re just focused on capturing that, making sure you’re new shot is stable and focused and you are not paying attention to the edges of the frame, you just can’t.

Plus, chances are you’re looking through a tiny viewfinder or at a small screen. Editing on the other hand is all about detail, you are constantly looking at every corner of every frame, on a nice big screen, and then you spot that one tiny reflection in the door handle in the background and you curse the cameraman for being so careless and not paying attention to the edges of the frame.
