Sometimes you get to edit a scene that’s just plain fun, this is such a scene! There are great performances her from both Lexi and Asia (and Jason X!). They gave the scene a lot of energy and made it a joy to go through and pick out the best bits for the trailer and preview. One of the few scenes where the odd special effect is required as well!
Part of my job with this kind of scene is to remove any directions from the director on set, it’s important all the sound feels as though it’s straight out of the camera so each audio clip has to be carefully chosen for each cut.
