This was shot on an incredibly bright but misty day that makes for a real headache when it comes to colour correcting the outdoor shots. Thankfully there’s not many of them and the action inside the cabin was a breeze. I think Tasty Stacey is especially good at the story scenes because she’s got a great face for expressions and always commits to whatever drama she is given. Yves is great here and you can tell Stacey is really enjoying his talents.
The opening of this scene was originally twice as long because I was enjoying cutting a silly montage of Michael marching around the woods to music, but eventually I realised that this was likely only funny to me and really not the point of the scene. This is actually just half of a dramatic two part thriller so make sure to catch the next scene to find out what happens when Michael confronts Stacey.
