This was really interesting to do a solo scene (I haven’t done one for a few years!). During these testing times, it’s cool to see what people are up to while we’re all cooped up in our homes! As far as editing goes, for the main scene it’s really all about you having a window into Canela’s lockdown world, so I let the scene play out as much possible.
The real editing comes in for the preview and trailer, picking out the absolute best bits to put together. Canela seemed to have a really good time filming this, so there were loads of great parts to pick out. I did a couple of audio edits, little bumps from chairs and other household objects. I always find them really annoying and distracting so I take them out so it’s a much smoother viewing experience. I upped the highlights a little and added some saturation to make sure the clip looks its best!
